Funds can then be used for Participation Contribution for Winter Guard, Winter Drumline, Jazz Band or student Band Banquet ticket.  Beyond this, any profit generated will go to the General Fund.

WHAT IS IT?

RaiseRight is a program that allows band supporters to purchase gift cards from hundreds of retailers and restaurants, including Amazon, Arco, Albertsons, Macy’s and Starbucks.  Supporters get to spend 100% of the amount they paid for the gift card.  The retailer pays the band a percentage of each gift card sold.  The percentage varies, but ranges from 1% to 20%.  Family and friends can help out by either ordering gift cards from you, or they may set up their own accounts to order directly, being sure to notify the Scrip Coordinator that they are a supporter of your student.

*There will be a 15% service charge on the profit you generate – this amount is deducted before your earnings post to your fair share account. (For example: a $100 Home Depot card generates $4.00 profit – the band general fund gets .60 cents and your fair share account will receive a $3.40 credit)

Your student’s fair share account will be credited with your Scrip profits on a monthly basis (credited the month after the earning month).

Earnings period for the 2024-2025 School Year will run from July 1, 2024 to May 30, 2025.

**June earnings will go to the general fund**

Donations are applied to participation contribution or general fund, and are tax deductible.
